Claudia's bathtub has a great big heart. He has longed for the day when children can splash and play in him, so when Claudia picks him out at the bathtub
shop, he is overjoyed! From the day he arrives at Claudia's home, she is dreaming up a different bathtime adventure, every night, serving tea to the Prince
of Wales or rocketing to the moon. But one day Claudia suddenly decides that she is through with baths. She will never take another, thank you very much.
And as the days go by and her poor tub stays empty and dry, his big heart grows lonelier and lonelier…
The Very Lonely Bathtub offers a witty and whimsical look at the normal obstinacy that most parents face, in one form or another, when their
children quest for independence.
