ABOUT THIS BOOK
In this playful tale, a child's search for a special possession—a wad of gum!—leads all over the house and back again. When the gum does not turn up, it's tempting to get mad, beg for more, or just give up and go to bed. But after a few tears, and with some perseverance, our young scout finally finds the treasure, and discovers the pride and pleasure that come from solving a problem independently.
