ABOUT THIS BOOK
When a fierce storm whips through the forest, Amanda flees for shelter. But Little Tree must stay rooted where she is, and the next morning Amanda finds her nearly bare of leaves, with broken branches and a heart that seems to be breaking too. At Amanda's call, the tree wizards come and help Little Tree heal—not only her branches but also her spirit and her beautiful heart.

Little Tree is a story of hope and inspiration for children with serious illness or injury. For parents, the book contains valuable guidance on its use as well as relaxation exercises they may teach their children. And new to the second edition is a Note to Parents about children and serious medical problems by author and psychologist Jane Annunziata, Psy.D.

REVIEWS
Praise for the First Edition
"Joyce Mills is a magical spellbinder who touches young and old alike."
—Carl A. Hammeschlag, MD, Author, The Dancing Healers and The Theft Of Spirit

"When I was four years old, I was badly burned and spent a long time in the hospital ... Had such a book been offered to me when I was a child, I know I would not have suffered the emotional scars I have carried from that experience. I highly recommend this book for therapists and parents."
—Violet Oaklander, PhD
